RuggaMatrix Club Rugby Episode 009 - Andrew Leeds

This is a great episode to launch our new site.

Wallaby and league legend Andrew Leeds talks about Parramatta’s massive upset against Warringah in round 8.

It’s a wonderful insight into a club fighting for survival off the field as well as on it.

After losing funding from the Parramatta Leagues Club, the Two Blues are surviving on the goodwill of players, coaches, supporters, friends and family.

Leeds is an iconic sporting hero from the area and together with his good mates Ian Hollins and Matt Campton.

Morgan Turinui also joins us from Queensland to go through round 7 of Queensland Premier Rugby.

Andrew Leeds, hear, hear. NSW Rugby must do everything in its power to keep Parramatta going. The game desperately needs to secure the hearts and minds of this massive area. With League going through the problems that it is currently facing, surely this is the time for rugby to swoop. The game at Manly Oval this weekend will be a cracker. I was convinced that Seany would have demanded a Gordon player as a guest on the show this week, in hope that the curse of "Club Rugby" would continue. Here's hoping for a great game.

Drappie .... I'm saving that Jinx for later in the season. At this stage, Uni Round 2 looks the ideal time to unleash it.

Should be a bottler at the Oval this weekend, hope it rains and rains and turns into a smash fest in the mud on the cricket pitch.

Best of luck.
